We buy a 100 to 150 broilers as day old chicks once a month and keep them under a heat lamp until they are big enough and feathery enough to live outside. They then spend their days outside pecking, scratching and lounging around unless it's raining and then they normally hide inside and who can blame them.

They are slow grown for a minimum of 90 days which is a whole lot longer than your average super market chicken and because of the breed and the way we grow them they tend to be slightly larger bird which gives a better meat to bone ratio.

Please see the price list for a list of products.

We also keep around 120 free range laying hens.

We believe both chickens and eggs produced from free roaming birds taste better because scratching around for natural nutrients helps give the eggs a better texture, a brighter yolk and the bird a richer taste (in our own opinion). Either way its just nice to see our chickens running around and flapping their wings.
