In October we start to take orders for Christmas including turkeys, chickens, gammon (for home cooking), pigs in blankets, chipolatas, streaky bacon, sausagemeat, etc.

All our poultry is slow grown and free ranging with plenty of space to scratch, peck and enjoy the fresh air and space. Last year the turkeys were into two houses. One we moved every 1-3 days around a pasture and one we used to to clear the garden and vegetable patches. This was so they could fertilise the land as they moved and clear the ground ready for next years planting. They enjoy going outside every day to forage, explore and sunbath until dusk when they go back in their houses to sleep. The next set of chicks should be arriving May/June time.

You can place an order by emailing a completed order form (see left), popping into the butchery or by giving us a call.

 

Stock is limited and will be allocated in the order of receipt.

Please be aware that we can only roughly calculate the end weights of the poultry at present and therefore we may not be able to meet your exact requirements but we will do our best to get as close as possible. If you have any concerns about this then please discuss this with us when placing the order so we can make a note on our system if we need to make any amendments to the order.
